چکیده
Serum biochemical and meat fatty acid profile of different chickens were studied. A total 144 mixed sex matured Cosmopolitan (C), Improved Horro (H), Cosmopolitan♂*Improved Horro♀(CH), Horro♂*Cosmopolitan♀ (HC), Indigenous (L) Koekkoek (KK) used to determine serum biochemical, which 36 also for study. Completely randomized design in 6 × 2 factorial arrangements was set up. profiles determined by Roche/Hitachi cobas c 501 gas liquid chromatography (GC) procedures, respectively. There significant differences (P ≤ 0.001) Total cholesterol (TC), Triglyceride (TG), Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) High-density (HDL) among genotypes between sexes. HDL inversely related with TC, TG LDL. Male had significantly higher TG, LDL but lower than female. SFA, (Myristic, Pentadecanoic Palmitic acids) α-linolenic 0.01) varied The differed across difference the number carbons, double bond position could affect Chicken products level SFA might human health problems. It be interesting topic future studies.

Evaluation of Functional Properties and Fatty Acid Profiles of One-Hump and Crossbred (Dromedarius and Bactrianus) Camel Meat
In this study twenty-four male and female one-humped and crossbred (Camelus dromedarius and Camelus bactrianus) camel meat were evaluated during two fattening periods (6 and 9 months). The characteristics of camel meat and fatty acid profile in different parts of body (leg, shoulder, loin and neck) were measured. The results indicated that the pH ultimate of crossbred...
متن کاملEvaluation of Oil Content and Fatty Acid Composition in Seeds of Different Genotypes of Safflower
Evaluation of four safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) genotypes for oil content and fatty acidcomposition showed that oil content varied from 22.16 to 34.39% and the highest seed oilcontent was obtained from Isfahan14 genotype (34.39%, respectively). Among those fatty acidswere detected, linoleic acid (75.81- 77.86%) was the predominant fatty acid followed by oleic(12.57–13.75%), palmitic (6.0...
متن کاملFatty acid profiles of processed chicken egg yolks.
The fatty acid compositions of egg yolks subjected to industrial processing treatments, namely, homogenization, pasteurization, drying, and "omega-3-enrichment", were studied. In general, the total contents of C16:0, C18:0, C18:1 n-9, and C18:2 n-6 fatty acids accounted for close to 90% of the total fatty acids. Statistical analysis of the data revealed correlations among the fatty acids; signi...

Background: Reference values are very important in clinical management of diseased animal. The mutton quality characteristics not only could reflect the breed of sheep, but also allow for a selection of improved meat quality in the breed analyzed with more attractive sensory attributes. The aim of this study was to establish reference values for commonly used hematologic and biochemical paramet...
متن کاملDifferent Serum Free Fatty Acid Profiles in NAFLD Subjects and Healthy Controls after Oral Fat Load
BACKGROUND Free fatty acid (FFA) metabolism can impact on metabolic conditions, such as obesity and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). This work studied the increase in total FFA shown in NAFLD subjects to possibly characterize which fatty acids significantly accounted for the whole increase. METHODS 21 patients with NAFLD were selected according to specified criteria. The control grou...
